Our History
About 10 years ago, God placed a burden on Leo and Tiffany’s hearts for the community of Eloy. They have worked in the community as teachers for about 14 years.
With God’s direction, in the fall of 2020, Eloy Outreach Ministry was formed. This ministry was an outreach of Calvary Chapel Casa Grande and began with only eight people. The purpose of the ministry was to do outreach events for the community of Eloy.
In December 2020, we did a food box giveaway for the community in which we gave away one hundred boxes of food. After this event, God led Leo to begin a weekly prayer/Bible study with our initial eight people. This began in January 2021 and focused on the needs of the community.
As the months passed, God placed on the hearts of our eight-member team the need to begin a strong Bible teaching church in this community. Together, our group developed a mission and vision statement and in June 2021, we began holding Saturday night services once a month at the Eloy Lion’s Club. In September 2021, we launched our weekly Saturday night services at the Eloy Lion’s Club.
God has blessed us with a wonderful worship leader and hospitality director. In addition, people have stepped in to serve others in the local body and community. We have been able to share and demonstrate the love of Christ through our continued outreaches in the community.
